The course owes its excellence to the collaboration of key individuals and local contractors. Brian Mabie, Director of Agronomy, and Don Padget, General Manager, led the project. Allega Inc. handled clearing and earthwork, while Carl Matucci managed irrigation and drainage. The rest, including shaping and sodding, was completed in-house. This teamwork created a remarkable golfing destination cherished by enthusiasts in Akron, OH, and beyond.

Raymond C. Firestone Golf Course’s longest tees, stretching 3,008 yards and a par of 35, offer a challenging yet enjoyable experience. The course has a rating of 33.9 and a slope rating of 109. As a daily fee golf course, it welcomes golfers of all levels and maintains an ‘Open to Public’ guest policy, inviting everyone to enjoy its beauty and play a round.
